Take Your Partners

Take Your Partners

Posted on: 06/04/2018

Business partnerships across two or more different types of business can be very useful so long as they are a win/win situation and  are appropriate. For example The Body Shop is not going to suddenly team up with a business that endorses product testing on animals, but it may well do with one that has solid `Green` credentials.
When setting up or even proposing a new partnership it is a good idea to consider what you are prepared to offer or contribute that your potential new partner will benefit from. Is it additional publicity, new bookings, affiliation to a well thought of business or maybe even sponsorship. In addition, what do you want in return and is it matched at the same level to your offer?
Black Cat Treasure Hunts have begun to expand the number of businesses we team up with for mutual benefits. We have links with accommodation providers in Brighton, especially those who provide hen party accomodation,as we write personalised hen party treasure hunts. By publicising these, the accommodation provider is able to offer an enhanced level of service to their customers. Similarly we have a strong link up with a tea house who can offer tea/cake or cocktail parties to hen party groups. Add a treasure hunt either side of this and it is `job done` for the first half of a day for the hen party organiser!
Sometimes there is a looser arrangement with activity or attraction providers that can be either closely related or totally different to refer enquiries either way when the opportunity arises. Black Cat has this with the British Airways i360 (an example of a very different attraction) and also Murder and Mayhem tours in Brighton who provide self guided booklets to use around the City.We have even had a sponsor this year for a particular part of our Lanes treasure hunt to help increase the number of people walking through that part of the City. This is a good idea for teambuilding treasure hunts to be involved with.
This Summer Black Cat Treasure Hunts  is aiming to launch a Summer long, cross City treasure hunt in Brighton and beyond. The idea is to link up with a wide range of businesses who will have clue questions for visitors to answer. The winners will be the one with the most answers and will get a substantial cash and activity prizes! This is going to be a great example of partnering up to generate publicity and interest in a wide range of businesses.
