Rye Treasure Hunt is a treasure hunt that covers a large section of the beautiful and ancient town of Rye. Find out about 'run-ins' with the French, famous writers, and old smuggling poems. This is a superb treasure hunt for locals adding fun to a regular walk or visitors discovering and exploring Rye for the first time. The Ypres Tower
, the impressive Rye Church
, the views out to the harbour, the incredible cobbled streets
and Mermaid St
with its amusingly named houses
make this a treasure hunt not to miss.
I am also a specialist in writing Personalised treasure hunts
all over Sussex, including in Rye. This is a perfect place for a celebration treasure hunt like a Rye hen do
treasure hunt (see review below) or a Rye team building
treasure hunt for an office away day.
"I wanted to take the time to write to you to say a big THANK YOU! Emily LOVED her Rye Treasure Hunt! She couldn't believe how detailed it was, and how fun. Thank you so much- it made our afternoon!"Starting point: Gun Garden, postcode (nearest) is TN31 7HW. On street parking is possible in Rye, although maybe a few minutes' walk from here. Pay car parks are on the edges of the town. Access to the answers is good for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs but many of the streets are cobbled so may be difficult to manoeuvre. The route is circular starting at the top of Rye. It goes down in a controlled way, but then rises more steeply to the finish.
