This treasure hunt is amazing!

The Amazing Race is based  on an entertaining ,American treasure hunt TV programme. Teams gain points by answering questions around Brighton and completing fun challenges, but with the unpredictable factors added in from the TV show.

*A Detour is where you must  choose between challenges. Higher points will be awarded if you choose the more demanding challenge.

*A Roadblock is when one team member only is chosen to complete a challenge. the others must wait for him/her to complete it.

*U-Turn is when the team who wins a specific challenge can nominate one of the other teams to complete both challenges of the next detour thus putting them under time pressure.

*Fast Forward is when a team can choose to leave out questions in order to make up time. The whole Amazing Race has a limited time to complete as many challenges and answer as many questions as possible in order to be declared the winners.

*Intersection is an unusual development where teams have to pair up with each other to make all decisions and perform all tasks together until further notice.
