About
Who is the `Black Cat` that will be responding to my enquiry?! My name is Tim Carter and I established Black Cat Treasure Hunts in 2012. At the time I was keen to be self employed and use my creative writing skills. When I first had the brainwave of setting up a treasure hunt company, I couldn`t quite hit on the right name.Lots of testing on friends and family did not meet with 100% approval ratings!
By chance though the perfect name was chosen when a black cat crossed my path and followed me for a while in Alfriston, a village in East Sussex.Alfriston was one of my first on-line hunts.It seemed destiny had struck.
Since that year I have retained the core of around 25-30 on-line,downloadable treasure hunts,but developed specialisms in writing bespoke,personalised treasure hunts for team building, hen parties and all types of celebrations and special events.
My background is in leisure and event management..ideal experience for setting up fun treasure hunts and running organised teambuilding events. I live in Seaford, East Sussex and have lived in East and West Sussex for most of my life.This has enabled me to gain extensive knowledge of all the different places featured here and some that aren`t! I even went to university in Sussex.Here is my LinkedIn profile for those of you who like a bit of solid evidence!
